A WORD ON GROUP DEEDING

The MelodiesToMemories jukebox needs to be owned by the same person or groups that owns the land where the jukebox is installed. If the land owner is a group then the juke needs to be deeded to that group.

You can check to see who the owner of the land is by clicking the land name in the title bar of your SL window. The About Land window shows you if the owner is a named individual or a group name.

Note: the person deeding the jukebox must be an office of the group that the land belongs to. Members of that same group who do not have officer rights cannot deed objects.

A WORD ON NOTECARD ACCESS

When you group deed an object its contents lose permissions. That means you will no longer be able to edit your authorized users notecard or your playlists once it is group deeded.

To reclaim a machine that is group deeded you would want to set your juke for sale (say at zero Linden) - then buy it. This will give you access to change its contents. You may then make changes and deed it again when ready to resume normal operations.
